Bee Pollen for Breakfast!

So I tired bee pollen for the first time today! I thought I’d see what all the hype was about.

For breakfast I had some homemade Granola (gluten and sugar free of course – recipe here). I sprinkled some goji berries and chopped up banana on top and then a tablespoon of bee pollen. 

Bee pollen is well know for its health benefits. It’s full of protein, amino acids and antioxidants. It’s a great energy booster (I need all the energy I can get right now as I’m 39 weeks pregnant!). It’s also know to help your digestive system, respiratory system, help with allergies such as hay fever and even help asthma. This list goes on…

It has a pleasant sweet taste too and makes a lovely topping for your breakfast!
