I can’t stop eating ice cream. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m normally intolerant to dairy and being pregnant means I don’t get any horrible side effects so I need to get my ice cream fox whilst i can, or if it’s just plain old cravings! Either way I need to start fixing my cravings with something a little healthier than a tub of Ben and Jerry’s!
So here’s a healthy ice cream recipe!
I first found a recipe of Deliciously Ella’s website.
2 frozen bananas (if tend to stick bananas in the freezer if they’re getting too ripe – it helps if you peel them and chop them up first)
1 tsp raw cacao powder (optional)
1tsp pure maple syrup (optional)
Simply stick everything in your blend and blend away! (Don’t over blend as it starts to melt).
Then enjoy! You could even add some toppings! Yum.
